The battle of the graphing calculators.
As always, I’m seriously impressed by all of the submissions. Every time we do a game jam I think “ok, we’ve seen it all how can they possibly come up with anything new” and then the ideas just blow me out of the water.
Keep it, less an week left to put finishing touches on your submissions. Voting starts on Friday!
Do we need to add the entries here? this is my entry for “most useless”. I cannot think on something more useless.
You can post them here if you want, in order to be a submission you need to have it in the game jam 4 folder.
By the way, the voting will work like this: All games will be in BOTH lists. Users are instructed to vote on the
closest fit to the theme in a given list.
I’ve submitted both a useful and a useless entry. I hope that is okay. If not, I am more proud of the useful one!

(Hope I can have two entries as my other one will be more useful.)
By some miracle I have an entry:
A homage to the strange mind of Gunpei Yokoi.
I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get something made in time,
but I’ve managed to cobble it together at the last minute.
I would have liked to have added sound,
but I didn’t have time to faff around with that.
Maybe I’ll add it another time.
LoveTester.hex (33.4 KB)
How to use
Testing requires two people*.
One person must hold the left directional button while the other person must hold the right direction…
17 entries so far, I’m seriously blown out of the water! Just a couple more days for developing!
That’s probably because most of us are competing for “most uselss tool”.
Chindogu programs are more fun to make than sensible ones.
hopefully I can finish my stuff tonight
I got all day tomorrow still right
Yes it closes at the end of the day, or probably whenever I wake up on Saturday more realistically
Hello everyone! Here is my very silly entry, enjoy

Up to 21 games what what! This jam single handedly increased the number of Arduboy
games software by nearly 10%!
But some aren’t very useful
most aren’t very useful.
Let’s be honest, a lot of the other games weren’t very useful either.
Not-A-Game Jam ending soon!
Didn’t think I could make it before the deadline but just submitted my useless
Chindogu entry: a self destruct message
Here’s my last minute submission:
I’m not sure if this falls under useful or useless. I’ll let others be the judge.
It’s definitely useless in the emulator. You’ll have to load it into a real Arduboy.
ArduboyLightMeter.hex (32.7 KB)
Source code is here:
The technique used may be of some use in other sketches, such as:
An alarm triggered by the ambient light level.
Something similar to a tilt sensor. A light falling on the Arduboy at various angles would give readings somewha…
