Arduboy not working

I went to upload code to the Arduboy. Then I realized that the Arduboy didn’t turn on. It is detected to the computer as if it was off. The screen doesn’t turn on nor the lights. when plugged into a my computer the red light that indicates its charging turns on for 1-10 seconds then turns off. Please help if you have any ideas on how to get it to work again.

battery was also my first thought, but agreed try all possibilities before assuming that
