Maybe I shouldn’t even be sharing it but I’ve had an idea forever about making an art installation out of the Arduboy by affixing it to a public wall with industrial epoxy, programmed with a game that goes into sleep mode when inactive, records and displays high scores, and rewards players for charging the device.
This is very unsettling for some reason
I’m referring to the photo @crait posted, not the art idea.
I like the idea of a ‘try the Arduboy’ booth, like how Nintendo has game demo booths with the console stuck in place so you can’t remove it.
However, art installations disturb me in general.
A small anecdote:
I went to an art gallery in Camden once.
I no longer go to art galleries.
To me it somewhat resembles something that I feel would be too crude to directly mention on this forum.
Bateske goes banksy?
Wow that’s one big ass usb stick
If it is for a art Display, make it a supersized but playable arduboy.
Years ago we glued pound coins to the pavement outside my dads shop fora laugh, it worked great right up till some kids came back with a hammer and chisel.
