Downloading Games

Can someone please give me some step by step directions for downloading games, specifically glove? I’ve been trying for a while but I can’t get it on my Arduboy. Thanks.

Check out these 2 topics, they explain how to get started with setting up the Arduino IDE and making your PC recognize the Arduboy:

When you got those things working all you have to do is connect your Arduboy to your PC, open a .ino file within the Arduino IDE and click the upload button! :slight_smile:

spenter, if things are still unclear after looking through those guides, ask whatever questions you have. Then we can figure out what steps are still unclear in the process, and get it all working for you.

Thanks for the help. After a while I got the game on my Arduboy. Glove is a really fun game!

Ok, i`m having some more trouble. Whenever I try to download a game this error message comes up, anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

C:\Users\michelo\Desktop\Chicken\ChickenX\ChickenX.ino:14:24: fatal error: ArduboyDev.h: No such file or directory

#include “ArduboyDev.h”

                    ^

compilation terminated.

You’ll need the arduboy source files for some games if they didn’t include it in the download. There is a way to download it as a zip from GitHub and then add it to your arduino ide so you’ll always have it. I’m on my phone at the moment so I don’t have the link for you. But search GitHub for Arduboy and you should be able to find it.
