Embedding the Video of an Uploaded Webm

Embedding the video of a webm after it has been uploaded requires an extra step. Simply copy and paste the url from href attribute of the added anchor (<a>) element into your post.

Linking to a Webm File

After you upload a webm it embeds a link like this:

<a class="attachment" href="//discourse-cloud-file-uploads.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/standard14/uploads/arduboy/original/2X/2/2d4264aa21c2fa85632d3528aca853d05d9dc5d1.webm">VID_20151208_224542.webm</a> (1.7 MB)

And in your post you will get a link like this: VID_20151208_224542.webm

Embedding a Webm Video

Strip the link from the href attribute and just post the url like this (you’ll need to insert http:):

In your post will be the embedded video.

It would be nice if things auto embedded after an upload, but currently it is assumed it is just a file that needs a link made.
