Error compiling for board Arduboy.

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

Hi, I know nothing about Mac’s but a quick google brought me to this.

  1. Open Trerminal
  2. Execute touch ~/.bash_profile
  3. Execute open ~/.bash_profile
File “bash_profile” will be opened in TextEdit
  5. Save, quit and reboot

This way helps me. Mac OS X 10.9.5 with Arduino IDE 1.8.1

It kinda looks like maybe Arduino isn’t installed and was trying to be run as portable from the desktop?

You might try asking in the Arduino forums as well seems like the problem is related to that instead of Arduboy specifically.
