So cool!

Too bad i dont have enough talent with c++ to get on the front page yet, hell, I just learned about enums :sweat_smile:

Maybe you can contribute to another game? :smiley:

Im still learning the most optimal methods, I would sure contribute to some other game once i get the hang of the basic c++ concepts.

Hello Arduboy community,
I tried every method to reset my Arduboy, but i always get this error or similar in the arduino software, also uploading the simplest sketch HelloWorld. I tried deleting drivers and so on as well:

    C:\Users\Eric\Documents\Arduino\libraries\Arduboy2\src\Arduboy2Core.cpp: In static member function 'static void Arduboy2Core::exitToBootloader()':

C:\Users\Eric\Documents\Arduino\libraries\Arduboy2\src\Arduboy2Core.cpp:568:15: error: 'MAGIC_KEY_POS' was not declared in this scope

   *(uint8_t *)MAGIC_KEY_POS = lowByte(MAGIC_KEY);

                 from C:\Users\Eric\Documents\Arduino\libraries\Arduboy2\src\Arduboy2Core.cpp:7:

   *(uint8_t *)MAGIC_KEY_POS = lowByte(MAGIC_KEY);

C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\cores\arduino/Arduino.h:100:33: note: in definition of macro 'lowByte'

 #define lowByte(w) ((uint8_t) ((w) & 0xff))

Maybe you know what i did wrong.
Thanks in advance

I have to update the readme. Apologies.

Just hit me that this stuff was written for Mac/Linux users :frowning:

I had not contemplated windows users. :frowning:

Did you select the Leonardo board from the tools menu before compiling/uploading?

Yes, I changed it to Leonardo

So I reinstalled the Arduino software and it worked just fine :man_shrugging:

Hello !
I have a problem to unistall Evade 2 from my Arduboy.
When i connect it on my pc, it’s only recognized when i reset with the UP-LEFT-A-B, but for only few seconds.

I think you need to time it correctly … Start an upload and then press the key sequence. If you get the timing right, it will latch on and upload.

Enable verbose outputs in settings, then when you see the ports message on uploading press the button combo.

I use the Arduboy Game Manager.
The Transfer button is unclickable. It’s possible to click only in this few second, but the arduboy is immediatly disconnect and then it restart.

Excuse me, but i’ma a noob with Arduino.
How can i connect my Arduboy with Arduino software ?

I didn’t realize you used Arduboy Game Manager
