Help with coding error

i tried making a code and it said ‘arduboy’ was not declared in this scope.
has anyone come across this before and any suggestions?

It’s because you haven’t declared an arduboy object, check out the section “Getting Arduboy-Specific Instructions”

If you’re new to programming in C++ I’d suggest going through the whole set of lessons, they are super helpful!

It’s impossible to tell you what the exact problem is without seeing the code.
“This scope” could have multiple different meanings depending on which part of the code the error message is talking about.

@bateske is half-right, one possibility is that you might not have defined an Arduboy2 arduboy; variable, but it could also mean that you have defined one, but the part of the code you’re trying to access it from can’t ‘see’ it for some reason.
