No idea how those ‘buttons’ are supposed to work, but that is by far the coolest Arduboy I’ve seen so far.
Steampunkism ho!
The steering wheel looking part is a 5-way tactile button and the two gears on the upper right hand side are the A and B buttons. Thanks for the compliment.
Steam-punk Arduboy … looks great!
Oh, so it tilts to press the buttons? Neat.
But it could be a problem if a game required pressing UP and DOWN, or RIGHT and LEFT, at the same time.
Maybe that’s where the central button comes in
It will do up and right, down and right, etc. if that is what you mean. It plays really well.
No, I mean RIGHT and LEFT pressed at the same time. Or, UP and DOWN pressed at the same time.
Nope, it will not do that.
Or it could be called Ardupunk
Steamboy?
Filler, and more
This is the design that I’ve decided to use. I have three more to build for my grandkids. BTW, I do own an Arduboy and I only do this as a hobby. The joystick works great. Total cost to build including red oak is about $24.50.
that’s an awesome game you have there =D
