I understand that we could modify it for use it in arduboy. I think it would be great. someone else sees it possible? because I have really wanted to see this game in my ARDUBOY.
I think if we do a little research, we can find many old projects with people who could help revive them in arduboy.
on twitter, the #Indiedev & #Gamedev community are very active, we have to try to attract more people to have better ideas and better games …
every time I take my “ARDUBOY” from my pocket all people look with OMG face
Toorum’s Quest II (Arduino based video game)
Behold Toorum’s Quest II, a retro video game running on The Box, my Arduino based 8-bit retro video game console
Tile graphics mode with sprites. Up to three sprites per scanline, unlimited number of sprites vertically. Display resolution 104x80 with 256 colors. NES controller support. 4 audio channels with triangle, pulse, sawtooth and noise waveforms.
The design is based on ATmega328P microcontroller running at 16Mhz (exactly the same as in Arduino Uno). The microcontroller has only 2 KB of RAM and 32 KB of ROM and there is no dedicated hardware for video or audio so many optimizations had to be done. In particular video and audio generation routines have been written in assembler and carefully cycle counted.
